D BONE

At the age of 12 my father bought me a Gibson SG and a Chuck Berry tape and said "This is what it's all about". From that day on, I could never put the guitar down. Growing up on Maxwell Street in Chicago, I was surrounded by the Blues and started my first band at 15 years old. My early influences were a who's who of early Blues like Muddy Waters, Howlin' Wolf, Buddy Guy, and Johnny Winter.

By 18 I was already a seasoned veteran, playing with a variety of bands in L.A., New York, Nashville, Vegas, and all points in between. After being on the road for many years and many record deals later, I wound up in St. Louis finding success in the local Blues scene. Finding many experienced musicians with the same attitude as mine, I decided to fulfill my dream of putting together a band doing my favorite original material.

After months and months on the road, I decided it was time to do my own recording with little outside influences. Many thousands of dollars later, I finished my own digital multi-track studio in my home. The songs you hear on this CD are a culmination of all my influences and experiences on this road called life. This web page is dedicated to all the people I love now and forever.
